About Me
I have about 25 pairs of cowboy boots and I love turquoise jewelry and pearls. I grew up with horses and a love of classic country music, hello Johnny Cash and Willie! I absolutely adore Anthropologie, my cowboy boots, my grandma’s broaches, flea markets, doilys, and burlap. I am also addicted to looking on Etsy and Pinterest for handcrafted goodies for myself and clients.
I was born and raised in the Dallas area. After receiving a bachelor of science from Texas Christian University, I started working at a western furniture boutique as a home decorator, manager and merchandiser. This experience gave me the opportunity to live in Forth Worth, Dallas and Austin. After the furniture business I worked as an associate cowboy boot buyer for a major western chain. I also dabbled a bit in fashion as a product manager for a ladies apparel manufacturer. The eye opener came after my own wedding when I saw all my “design” experience come together to create a unique event which really showcased Nathan and I’s personality. At that point the decision was made to become an event designer and consultant so I could share my passion of creating “unique to you” events with others. I am certified as a professional wedding consultant through Nuptial Essentials, NECI tm as of May 2010.
I currently live in Allen with my husband Nathan, our son Oliver and our gang of mutt dogs, Jack, Hagen, Bailey and Radagast.
