Bridal Shower in Horse Country

For those that know about my childhoood and teenage years, I grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses.  I miss it dearly, and will someday make it happen again!  With that said, when a close friend asked if I could do a few arrangements for her friend Jessica’s bridal shower at a horse ranch in [...]

Milk Glass and Moss

I thought I would blog about a little table setup I did today.  Nothing spectacular, but I do LoVe the simplicity of using milk glass mixed with moss and simple stems.  I used berzilia, hydrangea and moss.  A grouping like this would be ideal for a budget conscious bride!

Happy Happy Day!

My personal favorite color is orange so this bouquet just makes me happy.   And,  I was super excited to see that event planner Kristin Mullen at Events by Kristin had recently blogged that the hot color for 2012 is Tangerine Tango!   Tangerine Tango is a bit more reddish orange than the orange ranunculus [...]

Rustic Elegance

It was a beautiful 74 degree day here in Texas, in FEBRUARY!!  So, why not whip up some rustic elegant floral arrangements and do a little tablescape.  I just love the mix of creamy yellows, pinks and whites.  Especially when mixed with wood accents and my great-great grandmother’s antique linen.  We may be dining outdoors [...]

Sarah and Peter’s Wedding

I just have to say that I think Sarah and Peter may be two of the nicest people I have ever met!  I know they are probably sick of me telling them so, but they seriously just radiated sincerity and graciousness to all the wedding vendors involved.  Sarah and Peter came to me with a [...]

Winter Floral

I am seriously obsessed with silver brunia balls and dusty miller for holiday arrangements.  I just love this look for a winter wedding too.

Lacey and Scott’s Reception

Lacey and Scott were married in Hawaii earlier this year but they had their quaint reception at Gather in Downtown McKinney this summer.  Lacey wanted her floral and decor to be eclectic and non-traditional.  Peacock feathers were the inspiration for the color choices, and I threw in a few feathers on the table decor too. [...]

Erin and Brian

I really enjoyed working with Erin for her June wedding in McKinney.  Sydney with Blessed Unions described Erin’s style to me as organic and natural, yet still elegant and I think that is a pretty much perfect way to describe her.   I seriously think Bella Donna Chapel is one of the most beautiful chapels [...]
