Chrissie and Dan
I was so happy when Chrissie told me she wanted PINK for her wedding colors! I think pink is just perfect for a Spring wedding and most importantly… spring = peonies. Aww, lovely pink peonies! Chrissie’s favorite flower is the stargazer lily so that was incorporated throughout the reception and bouquets. I had a blast working with Chrissie and her mom Andi. The two of them together were just fun to be around and I hope we can all keep in touch. Here are a few pictures from Chrissie and Dan’s Wedding and Reception at Fairy Tale Manor in Frisco, Tx. Thank you Kate Mefford for the, as always, fabulous pictures and it was also a pleasure, as always, working with Emily Youngblood of Blessed Unions.
Such a handsome couple!
The bouquets were a mix of hydrangea, pink calla lily, stargazer lily, pink peony, and pink garden roses.
It was just a “little” windy that day. :) But it did make for some fabulous portrait shots of Chrissie and Dan.
I have said it before, I have a thing for carnations.

I just have to give a little shout out to Lauren at Fancy Cakes by Lauren. She made my wedding cake and I loved working with her. I thought Chrissie’s cake was seriously one of the sweetest cakes I have seen! Loved it.
I think there may have been mixed reactions on how “cute” this was, but I thought it was a priceless picture Kate captured of him having picked flowers off the pomander ball (see background) to what I hope is to give to the sweet flower girl. Just plain cute.
Gorgeous, and see what I mean about working that wind!
Thank you Chrissie and Dan for letting me be a part of your special day.

OK, now that the wedding-PTSD has worn off, I can appreciate the cuteness of Christian (the little boy) picking flowers off the pomander ball for my sweet flower girl, Jillian. But come on! He mangled your beautiful pomander ball!!
Thank you SO much for everything, Holly! We loved working with you, and everything was just perfect–especially with all your special little touches! We MUST keep in touch!
